by many nurses
We believe that nurses engage in the meditative process of art in order to make meaning of the experiences they encounter as healers. These nurses transcend the stress and sorrow that is sometimes associated with the profession and travel to another plane where they creatively channel their energies.
The overarching goal of Art by Nurses is to help retain healthy nurses in the midst of a critical nursing shortage. By creating art and sharing their artistic visions, nurses work to maintain their health and support each other in a demanding profession. Art by Nurses encourages nurse artists to come together to celebrate and sell their art online.
